The African market is attractive for St. Petersburg companies. And if large businesses are already operating in the region, then medium and small businesses will only have to master new directions. It is necessary to take into account economic and political risks, as well as high price competition from other foreign manufacturers.
Currently, a free trade zone is being formed in Africa, which should unite more than 50 African countries. It will become the largest free trade zone, which will cover 1.2 billion people. A huge market with great potential for Russian companies, which will be very competitive in the near future.
St. Petersburg can offer not only finished products, but also the introduction of advanced technologies. Possible areas of cooperation: pharmaceuticals, energy, water treatment, flour supplies, port facilities (including port cranes), etc
